Monitor Shopping Woes. please help!

Ok so here goes. I am the type of person that does research upon research upon research before buying something. I haven't been shopping for a monitor in a long time because I have been using my 40 inch HD LCD tv as my monitor but moved recently and am back to a desk setup so I am in the market for some monitors.

I am looking for 2 monitors. Here's the catch.

#1. I am an aspiring professional photographer and do alot of photo editing so color accuracy and representation is very important to me.

#2. I am a hardcore gamer so having fast response time is key. I doesn't sit well with me when my games become blurry.

#3. I plan on hooking up my xbox to this so HDMI input is a must.

#4. I am looking for 2 monitors at 24 inches. Now since I am a gamer and photographer I could get a monitor that fits each need OR get a monitor that covers both areas with ease.

#5. Price isn't too much of a concern but I do have a limit of how much I am willing to spend but it's more of value/quality price that can fluctuate. I guess maybe having a low and high end choice might help.
