Another PC building - which may have gone wrong!

I was hoping you guys on the forum would be able to help :-)

Basically i've built the compy. I turn it on, and it seems to boot up fine. Tested the DVD-drive and that pops in and out just fine. However, my monitor displays the fact that there is "no signal detected". The relevant cable is plugged in from monitor to pc, as is the power cable from graphics card to PSU, yet still nothing happens. I also get no "bleeping" from the computer at all (not sure whether this was related to this problem). I've triple-checked the power cables inside the computer and they all are connected properly. I just can't seem to think what the problem is if it isn't that.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Is the CPU seated in the socket correctly ? Did you check if the ATX +12v connector is connected, its the small 4 pin one.
